The Helvetic Guards (ELF) signed quarterback Carlton Aiken Jr. on Saturday.

Carlton Aiken Jr. is six foot two and weighs 220 pounds. The 25-year-old from Gibbstown, New Jersey, completed 25 of 60 passes (42%) for 354 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, 29 carries for 149 yards, and one touchdown in two games for the Barcelona Dragons (ELF) in 2023.

Also in 2023, Aiken Jr. played for the Silesia Rebels (PFL). He threw for 1,100 yards, 17 touchdowns, no interceptions, rushed for 700+ yards, and 11 touchdowns leading the Rebels to the Polish Bowl losing to the Bialystok Lowlanders.

Collegiately, Aiken Jr. began at Central Connecticut State in 2016 but did not record any stats for the Blue Devils. He also played one season at Gardner-Webb University in 2020 completing 75 of 123 passes (61%) for three touchdowns, seven interceptions, 45 carries for 103 yards, and three touchdowns in four games for the Runnin’ Bulldogs.

Aiken Jr. spent the majority of his collegiate career at Pace University (2018-19, 2021-22) completing 388 of 708 passes (55%) for 5,175 yards, 51 touchdowns, 17 interceptions, 364 carries for 1,822 yards, 20 touchdowns, one catch for four yards, one touchdown, and one punt for 16 yards in 29 games for the Setters.

He was named NE10 Offensive Player of the Year in 2019, Don Hansen All-America Honorable Mention in 2022, Voted NE10 Most Valuable Player in 2022, and First Team All-NE10 in 2022.
