The Fehérvár Enthroners signed quarterback Jack Mangel for the 2024 season on Tuesday.
Jack Mangel is six foot two and weighs 220 pounds. The 24-year-old from Athens, Georgia, completed 241 of 417 passes (58%) for 2,526 yards, 18 touchdowns, 19 interceptions, 60 carries for -54 yards, and one touchdown in 11 games for the Mountain Lions.
Collegiately, Mangel played one season at Northeast Mississippi Community College in 2019 completing 138 of 233 completions (59.2%) for eight touchdowns, 12 interceptions, and 44 carries for -111 yards in nine games for the Tigers.
Then, Mangel transferred to Concordia University (2020-23) completing 788 of 1,285 passes (61.3%) for 9,335 yards, 80 touchdowns, 44 interceptions, 143 carries for -107 yards, and six touchdowns in 33 games for the Mountain Lions. He was named First Team All-MEC in 2022, Second Team All-MEC in 2021, and NCAA DII All-American.
