Winnipeg Blue Bombers signs three players, including WR Keyion Dixon

On Wednesday, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed former Eastern Kentucky wide receiver Keyion Dixon, former Indiana State defensive back Inoke Moala, and former North Carolina and Rutgers defensive back Patrice Rene.

Keyion Dixon (24-years-old) spent his first two years at Connecticut (2017-18) with 44 catches for 507-yards, three touchdowns, and nine catches for 41-yards. The Glastonbury, Connecticut, native transferred to Eastern Kentucky for two seasons (2019-20) with 71 catches for 1,104-yards, seven touchdowns, and five carries for 48-yards.

Patrice Rene (24-years-old) was the Blue Bombers’ third-round pick (21st overall) in the 2021 CFL Draft. The Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, native played five seasons at North Carolina (2016-20) with 103 tackles, two interceptions, 14 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 45 games. In 2021, Rene played his sixth season at Rutgers with eight tackles.

Inoke Moala (25-years-old) played five seasons at Indiana State University (2016-19, 2021) with 122 tackles, 15 sacks, eight pass breakups, six forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, and six quarterback hits in 44 games.
