NASCAR driver Kaz Grala to compete in New Jersey this weekend

This weekend marks the final New Jersey Motorsports Park event of 2021, featuring the American Endurance Racing (AER) at Thunderbolt Raceway. This race is free to all spectators.

The race is a grueling 14-hour event that puts drivers and cars to the test. Qualifying and practice for the 14-hour race are on Friday. Saturday is the race, starting at 9:45 am and it goes until 11:45 pm. This race is rain or shine.

Among the drivers that will compete in the race is NASCAR driver Kaz Grala. He will drive the No. 555 1996 Mazda Miata along with seven other drivers. The other drivers joining him are Jason Goritski, Karen Grala, Peter Mcintosh, EJ Nemeth, Darius Grala, Peter Mcintosh Sr., and Jack Nemeth. You can check out the full lineup at the link here.

This year, Kaz Grala competed in eight races for three different series. He made three starts in the NASCAR Cup Series for Kaulig Racing, two in the Xfinity Series for Jordan Anderson Racing, and three in the Truck Series for Young’s Motorsports.

He had one top-ten finish in the Cup Series at Talladega, one top-five, and two top-ten finishes in the Truck Series. His top-five finish came at Circuit of the Americas with a second-place finish on May 22nd.
