On Thursday, the NTT IndyCar Series released the 2021 schedule featuring 17 races beginning March 7th at St. Petersburg and concluding on September 7th from WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
The Series will race four ovals, seven road courses, and six street circuits. The Series will have two doubleheader weekends at Texas Motor Speedway and Raceway at Belle Isle Park in Detroit.
New to the schedule is a street circuit race at Nashville, along with returning to Portland, Laguna Seca, and Long Beach. The Indy 500 will be held on May 30th. The Series will collaborate with NASCAR on August 14th from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. The tracks that are not returning are Iowa Speedway, Richmond Raceway, and Circuit of the Americas. Here is the 2021 schedule.
